Original convertible roof Hall sensors are becoming increasingly scarce. KM-tronics is therefore building a stock of defective original sensors.
We are using these sensors for failure analysis, component research and development of a professional repair/remanufacturing solution.
Our goal is to keep these convertible roof systems repairable after the remaining NOS stock has been exhausted.
Once we have developed and thoroughly tested a reliable repair or replacement solution, we expect to bring the price of these sensors back to a more normal level. Developing a dependable solution for an obsolete automotive sensor takes considerable time, research and testing, which is why collecting defective original sensors is important to this process.
