We always try to supply your items packed too withstand most shipping companies, however sometimes even our packaging is unable to survive what shipping companies throw at it. We do always try to:

- Wrap items in several layers of bubble wrap.

- Test all items testable items prior to shipping so in a case of a shipping incident we can show how it left our warehouse.

- We always aim to ship your item back within 10 business days of its arrival. If it takes longer we notify you about this.

- If the item is repaired by us we always offer a warranty. If the product is not repairable, we'll try to alter an alternative replacement item.

- It's possible that ECU's need to be reopened more than once, in this case the cover of the T8 will unfortunatly break. We'll make sure to kit this tear in the casing back together so no water is able to petrude it. This is however unavoidable in some instances we'll always communicate about this with you when this might happen.

- We dont build in our repaired items on our own facility or at other facilities as we're not an official garage. Our partner garages will gladly do this for you. Keep in mind that items we repair and you use, you use at your own risk.

 

Repair conditions

We always try to communicate any expenses and repair times upfront:

- We always discus the warranty terms with you in email, on the invoice or over the phone, These warranty terms can also be read on our site.

- Prices are discussed upfront, you wont be met with any unexpected expenses unless you asked for a costum solution.

- We always deliver our items with a warranty of a minimal 3 months upwards to 2 years for doorlocks.

-  Installing items repaired by KM-tronics is at your own risk. We are not responsible for any damages caused by our items - Keep in mind we're only repairing what is broken, parts of your item will still be 20-25 years old - therefor we are simply not responsible for any other faults that may occur after a repair.

- As long as your product is at the premise of KM-tronics we are the rightfull owners of that item. ofcourse everything we do or want to try will be discussed and confirmed on email. by using our services you agree to all the rules on the website, the warranty terms and the temporary relinquishment of ownership to KM-tronics.

 

Warranty conditions

Our warranty terms for ECU's:

- Always 1 year warranty unless agreed otherwise.

- You're able to retour the ECU within 30 days time, at your own expense.

- You're car must be checked for a good battery if older than 4 year it must be replaced, car needs to have a good ground, if you have any ground issues make sure to fix them prior to placing the ECU otherwise your warranty is voided.

- If your car ends up in a large accident warranty is voided.

- If your car or the ECU ends up with water damage the warranty is voided.

- You get a warranty from us if the invoice concerning the warranty is paid for.

- If available we'll instantly provide a replacement ECU in case of a warranty.

- You're not allowed to open our ECU's if you do so the warranty is voided.

- If your car is involved in a fire the warranty is voided.

- You are allowed to tune your car, but in case of a P0601 or P0606 after a tune, go back to your tuners to set the software back to stock.

- If you dent, drop or otherwise damage the ECU (except for accidentally scratching it slightly on car brackets) the warranty is voided.

- Warranty is voided if the ground strap that is supplied is not correctly installed. 

- KM-tronics is not responsible for any damages caused when you use our products. If you use our products and for some reason it goes bad this unfortunatly how things are ofcourse we'll warrantee the product but we dont cover any extra costs you may or may not have made. Placing our repaired products on your car is at your own risk.

- P1682 is not a warranty unless a CEL is present. As P1682 can be caused by many issues on the +15 signal or the difference between ecu's and model years.

 

Other repaired products warranty policy from KM-tronics:

- Always a minimum of 3 months warranty.

- If your car is involved in a fire the warranty is voided.

For all the of items warranty applies to the original owner. If the original owner is a reseller or garage, they are your contact point to go to for a warranty case. If they discover the warranty terms have been met they will provide you within 20 workdays time a warranty unit. For US costumers the warranty time may be longer due to the overseas shipping upwards to 40 workdays time.
