93NG Ledbar - estate - Saab griffin look - mail in version

The Saab 93NG griffin estate ledbar is available for purchase!
The current version available is:

- Smoked, 1 strip normal brightnes - chrome colour of choice (silver/black/titanium)

Update 8 - 1 - 2026

Smoked - 2 strips - normal brightness - chrome of choice will become available around 30-1-2026,

clear - oem will become available around 1-3-2026 - We are currently testing this specific ledbar with translucent elements and so far the test results are acceptable.

This is the ledbar for the Saab 93NG estate which we will be releasing very soon. This item has a griffin look to it, it is not an oem  item. (Not made by Saab and therefor an aftermarket replica part).

These ledbars fit all Saab 93ng estates from 2005 to 2012.

Brightness description:

Normal

The "normal" brightness is visible on picture 1 & 3. During the night this is your best option for a subtle red ledbar, not too bright but clearly visible during the night. With the smoked option this brightness is almost invisible during the day

Bright

The "birght" option will be a little bit more bright or close to as bright as your normal rear lights. We're trying to regulate this with a resistor. This option is visible during the day, and night with all color options

We will make a DIY version and Mail in service

This is an aftermarket item not build by SAAB AB, SCANIA AB. 

You maybe able to hear a high pitched note while driving around with the ledbar on speeds below 80km/h depending on how well sound isolated your car is.

Update:
We're releasing a small limited batch of smoked Saab 93NG ledbars for the estate in a few weeks time. Those will after that limited batch be available first a few months after that. This limited batch is simply to test your experience with the product. To see how we can help guide you with the installation and to see what needs to be added in a installation video. See these units as pre-production products. They are basically the end product with some rougher edges then the production version will get. 

"Clear oem" versions are going to be sold aswell but we're having difficulties hiding the details you dont want to see in a ledbar (wiring for example) and as the room is very small we're trying to come up with a correct solution were the details you dont want to see are not visible. This might mean that we add extra black details to the clear oem version, to basically mask it.

The bright option will need abit more testing as currently we're getting some issues where the license plate lighting gives a false postive error for not fully functioning.

For those interested:

We make everything except the led strips ourselves. Especially casting the ledbar glas is a process that takes a long time to cure out. This means that we're able to cast (due to having 3 molds ready) 3 ledbars per day. After casting they need a full 2 weeks of curing time to "harden" If this process is not done correctly the ledbar glas will curl or bend too much. We mixed it so that the glas is bendable up to about 30 degrees. This leaves enough room on both edges just as the OEM Saab 93NG estate strip to bend a little. on the edges towards the middle.
