Saab 9-3NG TTiD or TiD relocation bracket
Installation guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKrFop3XdiA
The TTID and TID ECU for the Saab 93NG has from factory abit of a weird location. They placed it in the right front wheelarch. This ECU has absolutely no heat issues there, however it does have water damage issue, corrossion issues and to add to that the bend the cable harnass has to make is prone to rip.
On average your TTiD or TID ECU will last anywhere between 300000 to 400000 km before it gets damaged due to the encasing corroding away. In the nordic regions of the EU this might be even faster due to the salty road conditions of those regions.
At KM-tronics we developed a relocation bracket to make sure this ECU no longer has to suffer from these salty road conditions. The relocation bracket for the TTiD or TiD ECU makes it possible for you to move your ECU to the firewall. The kit contains the following:
1x bracket for your TTiD or TiD Saab 93NG ECU to relocate your ECU.
2x M5 screws to make sure your TTiD or TiD ECU stays inside the new bracket.
2x foam cushion added to the bracket to make sure your ECU sits nice and comfy!
a video guide on how to install the whole bracket.
Pay attention please:
If you have ordered a TiD or TTiD repair from us there is no need to order this bracket as all our repairs come with an additional piece of kit to preserve your ECU abit longer than OEM would have done.
