The revision for the SAAB 93NG door lock is something we have been doing for 5 years now, both as a hobby and as a business we have discovered all the ins and outs of the door lock. We provide a standard 2-year warranty for every door lock.

We repair all part numbers of SAAB 93NG door locks. Please note that it is important that you only replace the SAAB 93NG door lock on part number or that you know which partnumber belongs to which model year doorlock (see our list below). If you do not match the part numbers, you can get all kinds of strange error messages on your SID or a lock that no longer closes or no longer opens.

Examples of a defective door lock are the following:

  1. Sporadically closing doors.
  2. Sporadically going off the car alarm.
  3. Messages on the SID display of your car.
  4. Error codes regarding the "doorlock ajar switch".
  5. Possibly error codes that start with B35XX or B36XX
  6. No longer opening the trunk or door.

When delivering your defective door lock, make sure that the housing is intact. We do not recondition a door lock with a defective housing because in some cases it can no longer be mounted ESaabParts might have a solution for this.

When sending your door lock to us, it is important to pack it well. The plastic door lock 93NG housing is now so old that it can break due to the shocks that the package receives during shipping. It is also important that you go through a short checklist before sending your defective SAAB 93NG door lock. This is to rule out whether your DDM is defective or your door lock is defective.

- 2003 - 2005 model year cars have a 7 pin doorlock either with or without TSL, check the extended bit of the doorlock to read the letters "TSL" to know if yours has TSL or not, this doorlock is also compatible with later model years

- 2006 and later models use a 5 pin doorlock if it has TSL (this is not backwards compatible with 2003-2005 models). If your car does not have TSL it has a 4 pin doorlock.
